Natalia Smith is a multidisciplinary artist residing in Lethbridge, Alberta. Mainly working in traditional acrylic and oil painting methods, her work focuses on her connection with nature while exploring themes of ecology and identity.
Natalia has participated in exhibitions in Lethbridge at Casa for her show Mending Relations in 2025, the Penny Gallery for the Fluidity exhibition in 2024, and at the Yates Memorial Centre in 2023 for the Identifying Self exhibition. In 2025 she was awarded the Southern Alberta Art Gallery Award and the Excellence in Painting Award through the University of Lethbridge. In 2024 she received the Guinevere's Award in Studio Art from the University of Lethbridge and in 2023 The Founding Faculty Artist Residency Prize. In 2025 Natalia will be graduating from the University of Lethbridge’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program with honours in Studio Arts.
